One of the assignments was to evaluate and edit a landing page. Design is not my strongest suit. In fact, I do think I need to work a lot harder when it comes to creating a landing page. And that says a lot seeing that this is in my own website. Nonetheless I took on the assignment with a bit of gusto to see what I can do with it.

The assignment is to evaluate the landing page on the left and give it a little sparkle. The class was provided with resources such as the Unbounce "How To Create High-Converting Landing Pages Using Conversion-Centered Design" by Oli Gardner. We were also provided a link to watch the webinar that provided a lot more information. -Design is definitely not my strongest suit, so having a guide provided me with some food for thought. Understanding how the visual hierarchy can either bring up or pull down the attention rate. Understanding how the color scheme between the display ad and landing pages should match. Understanding how the layout should be done so viewers are not overtly distracted. - Putting everything I learnt, I created a landing page to my best ability. Seeing the end results made me realize I still need to put in a lot of work. On the bright side, it doesn't look as horrendous as what we see on the left.
